Frequently asked questions: Rajasthan
Can a Rajasthan e-challan pending in court be settled at Lok Adalat?
Usually yes, if the offence is compoundable. Court-pending e-challans are listed at district National Lok Adalats under RSLSA. We check your challan's status first.
Is Lok Adalat free?
Yes. Lok Adalat is run by Legal Services Authorities and is free. You can register yourself on official portals. We help people who don't have the time or find the process confusing, and charge only for our service.
Can every challan be settled at Lok Adalat?
No. Usually only compoundable or minor offences are taken up. Serious offences such as drunk driving, accidents causing injury or death, or cases pending in other courts are generally excluded. We check this before you pay.
How much will my fine be reduced?
The Lok Adalat decides the amount. It is often reduced and sometimes waived, but no one can guarantee a reduction.
Who do I pay the fine to?
Only to the government, through official channels. Our service fee is paid separately to AdalatSaathi with a GST invoice. We never collect the fine.
Do I have to go to court?
It depends on the city. Delhi has a digital process; in some places you or your representative must appear on the Lok Adalat date. We tell you exactly what is needed.
